Realflow Melting Scene Setups! FREE DOWNLOAD

Hey guys, finally got round to uploading these scenes and getting you some download links. Some of you may have scene that i gave away some melting scripts that i wrote not too long ago, if not check out the post ‘Free Realflow Melt Scripts.’

There were a few of you having trouble with the general melt scene in getting it working, so i’ve put together a demo scene file for each script that should work straight off. You can have a look under the hood and check out what’s going on, so hopefully you can get some of your own melting projects going!

I’ll record a proper tutorial of how to push these further and work with elastic materials soon, but in the meantime enjoy :)

Amazing! Thanks a lot for the scripts. I’m trying to melt a Fill Object with the General Melt Script but it just stops melting at a certain frame. Do I need to tweak something so the object melts completely?

Again, thanks a lot :)

Hey mate, no probs glad you’re finding them useful. Yes that ill tend to happen as you increase resolution and the particle grid is more compact i think. Animating the null or plane (can’t remember what control object i put in the script now :S) will need to be done. Try and start finding the value that melts the object completely initial, and then animate it from a lower value up to that value and beyond, so hopefully you’ll get a nice consistent, complete melt.

Hope that makes a bit of sense!

Thank you for your quick response, that totally make sense! I just tweaked the Y-value from the null object and my particle’s resolution and finally got my desire melt.

You’ve been really helpful! :)
